About the Event
Description:
Think, Code, Solve is a dynamic technical event designed to inspire participants to put on their thinking caps, fire up their coding skills, and tackle real-world problems creatively. This event is a platform for innovators to present their ideas on how coding can be harnessed to address everyday challenges, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills. Participants are encouraged to envision solutions that can make a tangible difference in people's lives.
Prerequisites:
1. Inclusive Participation: The event extends a warm welcome to all college students with coding knowledge, ensuring an inclusive and diverse pool of participants.
2. Tech-Ready Venue: The college should provide a suitable venue equipped with a projector and sound system, offering a conducive environment for presentations.
3. Coding Proficiency: Event organizers possess a solid understanding of coding, allowing them to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the ideas presented.
4. Preparation Time: Participants are afforded ample time to prepare their presentations, and they will have access to essential resources like computers, internet connectivity, and any other tools they may require.
Rules:
1. Mode of Presentation: Participants will deliver their ideas using presentations.
2. Time Limit: Each presentation should not exceed 7 minutes, with an additional 3 minutes allocated for questions and answers, promoting concise and impactful communication.
3. Language: Presentations must be conducted in English, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all attendees.
4. Originality: Ideas presented must be original and not copied from any source, celebrating the participants' creativity and ingenuity.
5. Problem-Solution Narrative: Presentations should clearly articulate the problem being addressed, propose a solution, and elucidate how coding will be employed to implement that solution.
6. Technical Details: Technical aspects, including algorithms, data structures, and programming languages used in the solution, should be presented with clarity.
7. Feasibility and Applicability: The proposed solution should be not only innovative but also feasible and capable of real-world application. Show cost feasibility, computing feasibility, deployability.
8. Judging Criteria: A panel of judges will evaluate the presentations based on originality, feasibility, effectiveness, and the overall clarity of the presentation.
9. Decisions Binding: The decisions of the judges are deemed final and binding in all aspects of the event and its outcomes.
Awards:
Certificates of Participation: Every participant will receive a certificate recognizing their active involvement in the event.
Swag Bags for Top 3 Ideas: The top three innovative ideas will be celebrated with swag bags filled with goodies such as t-shirts, caps, water bottles, and other branded items. These serve as lasting mementos of their meaningful participation in Think, Code, Solve.
